Star Hoppers is the edited text of Cate’s Communal Writing Experiment presented in an interactive version. The goal of this experiment was to create a text using facebook posts from anyone who wanted to contribute. The characters and plot developed as each person posted additional text. The entire experiment, with comments and discussions, can be viewed at Cate’s Communal Writing Experiment on facebook. This experiment was conducted as the final project for the Creative Electronic Publishing class in the Creative Writing and Publishing Arts MFA program at the University of Baltimore.
